As owner and Executive Coach for ActionCOACH of West Texas, Rory Sheppard is an executive leader with a 30+ year track record of growing in responsibility in some of the most iconic brands in the state of Texas (Hastings Books & Records, Builders Square, AT&T, H-E-B Grocery, and Whataburger).
A majority of his working career has been in large, complex family-owned businesses. He has had a broad range of experience in leading and managing very large teams across many diverse disciplines, including:

How do we get started?

Set a meeting with your ActionCOACH CEO Coach today … and you’ll be guided through some evaluation process paperwork to initiate the coaching process. Together, you and your Coach will plan & define a two-day offsite designed to build the targets for the first 12 months plus long-range targets for the next 5-7 years.

How does this program work? What is the meeting cadence?

Your calendar is full of daily and weekly meetings, our approach is to maximize impact without dominating time on your calendar. We will coordinate with each business a meeting cadence to do just that:

  • Monthly Meetings: Conducted either in-person or virtually, each meeting will last between 1 and 3 hours.
  • Quarterly Planning Sessions: Three 1-day sessions throughout the year to review progress and plan future strategies.
  • Annual Planning Sessions: A 2-day session at the start of each program year for setting comprehensive yearly goals and strategies.
